Gizmodo : SmartKlamp: Single-Use, Automatic Circumcisions

Comon people. What is the dealy with this?

A fine quote from the page:

But in the future, as I'm lounging around with my dome open, instructing technicians to lift my brain onto a substrate of pure electrical joy, I will never, ever, ever let a robot cut my willie. I might have fun with a robot, that's fine; looking forward to it, actually. But at no point will I be placing my penis into a tube filled with knives.

Happy Friday!

"Success is more a function of consistent common sense than it is of genius." -- An Wang

It was a good week. Creative bursts at work, lots done, and moving forward. Homelife is as good as can be expected with a 2 month old. NY has a higher rate of flu, so we feel compelled to keep the baby home alot, which i think is driving the kids a little nuts. They have that nasty stomach virus that killed me when I was here a few years ago. I mean this thing was so palpable that you could feel it come into your body, scramble your innards, and crawl out of your open, gaping mouth after you've thrown up every vestiage of matter in your body and given up the will to live.

High-contact locations, are then, too risky.

Still looking for a church. We've had some good luck finding nice ones, but we are very particular about churches.

Happy February

"Unfortunate as it is, not all humans can be trusted to do you no harm. Most are ok, but the vast majority of people do whatever the loudest amongst them tells them to." - Tim Bowling

This NY winter is amazing! I mean snow after snow after snow. I recall much of this from my childhood, but its so much more of a pain as an adult. Its a long, dreary, cold and wet trek through months of subfreezing temperatures, kids continuously have a cold and cough througout the winter, I have 2 hour commutes each way, we're all packed in with 1700 people per square mile, all relying on a shaky power grid and gas that is 20% more expensive than anywhere else in the country.

But its Friday, I get to buy a printer. The coffe is warm. The work is good. I finished my courses on Islam and The Christian Reformation What next?
