W is FOR WINNER!

Well kids, wasn't that fun!!! W has pulled it off, withstanding the greatest attack
launched on any politican in the history of politics. I'll go over that some other time.
This was much better than 2000, even the dems behaved themselves( so far).

This country is moving right, and thats a good thing. I know
the dangers of moving right ( overzealous moral legislation, etc). Most of that is
brought on by the strong-arm tactics of the left, trying legislation via the courts.
People will not stand for it.

As long as we keep a handle on the fundamentalist right, (they do not
represent the whole, as the failure of many of their candidates show),
we can slowly steer this country in a more sound direction.

The move right is glacial, and it can happen in a two party system.
For example, many people note that JFK today would be
considered a reasonably conservative republican, sans morality.
Both parties moved left from say 1950 to 1980. Then, as things
reached a pinacle of badness under Carter, we started moving back,
with minor course corrections ( even clinton signed welfare reform).
We can't start educated people on Libertarian and Austrian ideals when
the left is running this place. Libertarians and such can affect the
GOP from within, and move the party both fiscally and environmentally.
I think the NRA hunters and such love the environment as much as East
Coast Liberals, probably more.

I hope that within 20 years, the GOP is really where the Libertarians
are today, at least fiscally, and Democrats have taken what liberal
republicans are holding today. The labels will stay the same, and
under the 2 party system it will still run the show, but change
occured anyway. Counterintuitively, the platform moves under the
party. The dems approach socialism and hedonism....while that could be
fun, it doesn't represent American. Thats their problem.

Another nice possiblity is that the left splits in two and the right
split in two. Four party system. That would be more interesting, and
alotmore like what other nations have. Labor, Conservative, Liberal ,
Socialist. Not fewer labels, but more.

What is nice about this election is who lost it. This election, in a
nice way, was a spit in Old Europes face. The mtv crowd lost, the
elite media lost,Theresa Heinz Kerry lost, Dan Rather lost, OBL lost,
the fringe crazy Soros crowd(get that guy some paxil!), with his billions, lost, and we didn't
get a trial lawyer a heart beat away from the presidency. Who knows
what he would have appointed to his cabinet!

Breath easy friends, it is a good day. A great evil was avoided, and
the Titanic is moving away from the iceberg.

Now we have to stay on GWB's case BIG TIME! With a commanding lead in government
it is our turn to SHINE!
