Man, this sounds familiar. This is going to make me think twice about buying EA Games, thats for sure. The link below is an anonymous letter from a spouse of an EA Game programmer. Part of the studliness of being a game programmer ( or any programmer) is that you can stay up all night, code for weeks without any sleep. But I've never believed it. I think its poor management. This kind of management is unwise, since it is axiomatic that killing your employees is bad for your business. They don't watch in an unionization could happen overnight, killing the industry even faster.

Get a clue EA, you evil, corporate slave-drivers. Only the least human among us can make such a fun thing as game development torture.
